About this ride
Kingscote & Surrounds is a 27 km loop from the Reeves Point Historic Site, put together by the Kangaroo Island Bicycle User Group. About 65% is sealed, with some dirt sections, as it winds through historic Kingscote and the farmland and coast around it. There's an optional 6 km beach detour to the Cygnet River Mouth wetlands. Stops along the way include Dauncey Street cafes, the KI Brewery, Shep's Studio and the Bay of Shoals winery. Allow 2 to 3 hours plus stops.
