Knocklofty Reserve above West Hobart is a City of Hobart bushland network of shared fire trails and mountain-bike tracks linking toward McRobies Gully and the Kunanyi / Mt Wellington foothills. Trailforks maps greens through blacks across Mount Stuart Track, Yellow Hippo, Woodmans Track and related lines; April 2025 council works added Knocksofty shared trail and the intermediate bike-only Swing Set downhill. Park at Forest Road (gates typically 8am-6pm), yield to walkers on shared tracks, and ride within your skills.
