About this ride
Little Para Reservoir Reserve sits on the edge of Greenwith and Golden Grove in Adelaide's north-east. SA Water says it has more than 3 km of easy and intermediate shared trails through native bushland and gentle rolling hills, including a 2 km loop. A lookout gives you a sweeping view across the reservoir to the dam wall, and it's a nice family add-on to a north-east ride. The entrance is at the end of Para Valley Road, Greenwith, next to the Tea Tree Gully motocross track. The reserve is designed for walk-in and ride-in access and parking is limited, so ride in through the neighbouring Greenwith Little Para Reserve if you can. Open 7.30am to 5pm (8pm in daylight saving), and closed on Total Fire Ban days and Christmas Day. No dogs.
