The Merrijig – Two Rivers Loop is a 62.9 km expert gravel ride with 1,556 m of climbing, starting and finishing at the School Lane and Mt Buller Road intersection in Merrijig. It links the Delatite and Howqua valleys over a long technical climb on loose 4WD surfaces, with three river crossings and big views of Timbertop and the Divide. Tourism North East rates it for dry weather only in the green season from November to early May — ride self-sufficient and close any gates.
