Nowa Nowa MTB Park

Nestled on the forested slopes of Mt Nowa Nowa in East Gippsland, Nowa Nowa MTB Park is one of Victoria's most beginner-friendly mountain bike destinations. Designed around a unique climb-then-descend layout, riders pedal a gentle 5 km ascent to the top of the mountain before choosing from a variety of flowing singletrack descents back to the trailhead. The network offers around 35 km of trails, including 20 km of dedicated mountain bike singletrack and 15 km of shared walking and cycling trails. Most trails are graded green, making the park an ideal destination for riders building confidence, while the blue-rated Jumping Jackaroo and Wallaby Ramble provide extra excitement with flowing berms, rollers and small jumps for more experienced riders. Jumping Jackaroo is the signature descent, delivering around 15 minutes of fun, flowing trail featuring sweeping corners, log rollovers and optional jumps. Riders looking to maximise the downhill can also take advantage of the vehicle-access shuttle road leading to the upper trailhead. Just minutes from the township of Nowa Nowa and within easy reach of Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale, the park combines accessible riding with welcoming local businesses, making it an excellent destination for families, weekend riders and anyone exploring East Gippsland.
