Old Town Common MTB Trails
About this ride
Old Town Common MTB Trails are a family-friendly cross-country mini network on the edge of Tumbarumba in the Snowy Valleys. Ride Tumba’s MTB page lists Town Common as one of three in-town XC areas built and maintained by volunteers, including a 600 m family track (Brumbies Run) wholly visible from the picnic table, and green trails As Common as Muck (1.2 km climb), For Pete’s Sake, Basalt Flow and Jo’s Shuttle. Snowy Valleys tourism describes Old Town Common as a 2.5 km cross-country loop with jumps and climbs. Cycle Tumbarumba lists Old Town Common as a kids-friendly XC / rhythm-section loop, separate from Mason’s Hill and The Police Paddock. OpenStreetMap maps a named path “As Common As Muck” at Tumbarumba, used as the trail pin. This is a different venue from the live hub Tumut Mountain Bike Park. No hub club name matches Cycle Tumbarumba or Ride Tumba exactly, so associated_club is blank. Check local trail notes before you ride after wet weather.
