Pipeline Track is City of Hobart's wide, family-friendly shared-use ride following Hobart's historic water supply line around the southern slopes of Kunanyi / Mt Wellington. The Easy IMBA-rated dual-direction track runs about 12.7 km from Fern Tree with gentler options joining at Neika, mossy gullies, Derwent estuary views and toilets along the way. Walkers share the corridor - keep speeds friendly - and the Kunanyi / Mt Wellington Explorer Bus can drop you at Fern Tree with a bike surcharge.
