About this ride
South Kempsey Pump Track is a council asphalt pump track and learn-to-ride track at South Kempsey Public Recreation Reserve near the Dunghutti-Ngaku Aboriginal Art Gallery and Macleay River Historical Museum. Kempsey Shire Council's completed-project page lists completion on 30 July 2024, funded through the NSW Places to Play program, and designed to cater to a range of skill levels. Council's opening media release (31 July 2024) says the facility is open and free, catering from first-timers to BMX riders, with a learn-to-ride track beside the pump track using road markings, signs and crossings.
