About this ride
This 75 km all-dirt loop of Kangaroo Island's north coast hills starts from the Western River Cove campground and is one of the Kangaroo Island Bicycle User Group's routes. Expect steep climbs and descents, with tall sugar gums and yaccas along the Range Road. It takes in three beaches: Snellings Beach seen from Constitution Hill, Rocky King George Beach and Western River Cove. Allow from 4 hours to a whole day. You need to be self-sufficient, because there are no shops, the water is untreated tank water and mobile coverage is patchy.
