Superbowl MTB Park

Just south of Nowra on the NSW South Coast, Superbowl MTB Park is one of the key mountain bike networks in Currambene State Forest, developed and maintained by the volunteer-run South Coast United Mountain Bikers (SCUM). Along with nearby Butterfly and Coondoo, it forms part of one of the Shoalhaven’s standout MTB destinations. Superbowl offers a varied mix of cross-country singletrack and flow-focused riding, with the newer Airflow network adding jumps, berms and gravity-style features to the more traditional XC trails. Riders can expect a combination of fast, twisting singletrack, short technical sections, punchy climbs and fun descents, with green, blue and black-rated options providing something for a range of riding abilities. The Airflow trails are a highlight for riders who enjoy getting off the brakes and playing with the terrain, while the XC network provides a more traditional mountain bike experience with natural trail, technical features and plenty of opportunities to test your line choice and bike handling. Superbowl can easily be ridden as a standalone session, but it also works well as part of a bigger day exploring the surrounding Currambene State Forest networks. Butterfly MTB Trails are only around five minutes away along Butterfly Road, offering a distinctly different style of riding with rough, old-school, hand-built XC singletrack. Riders wanting to extend their adventure can also add nearby Coondoo MTB Park. Together, Superbowl, Butterfly and Coondoo provide a great base for exploring Nowra mountain bike trails, Shoalhaven mountain biking and MTB trails on the NSW South Coast. RTS Tip: Superbowl is a great choice if you're looking for variety, with traditional XC riding mixed with flow, jumps and more gravity-focused features.
