Victoria Park Urban Pump Track
About this ride
Victoria Park Urban Pump Track is Brisbane City Council's named urban pump track in the north-west corner of Victoria Park / Barrambin at Herston, about 2 km from Brisbane's CBD. Council's Victoria Park / Barrambin page states beginner and intermediate riders can use the urban pump track to practice and expand riding skills, with a multi-use space with skateable elements, picnic shelter and seating, amenities block, drinking fountains, bike racks and a 16-space car park. Council notes that while major areas of the park are closed for construction linked to Brisbane 2032 venues, the pump track, picnic spots and dog park remain open to the public. Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner's announcement describes a 260-metre asphalt course with jumps, bumps and banked turns. Access is via Herston Road for the pump track.
