About this ride
Browns Plains BMX Track – Centenary Plains BMX Club Browns Plains BMX Track is home to Centenary Plains BMX Club, a long-established BMX racing facility at Waller Park in Browns Plains, Logan, Queensland. The club's BMX history stretches back to 1983, when local families established the original Browns Plains BMX Club and built the first track themselves. In 1998, Browns Plains BMX merged with Centenary BMX Club to become the Centenary Plains BMX Club riders know today. The purpose-built competition BMX track provides the jumps, rollers, straights and banked turns that make BMX racing such a fast and exciting discipline, giving riders opportunities to develop speed, jumping, bike handling and race skills. There's also a pump track connected to the race track, adding another option for riders to practise and have some fun on the bike. The facility supports regular BMX racing, gate practice and coaching, while the club says the track is also accessible outside organised sessions for riders to roll around and practise, although the starting gate only operates when coaches or committee members are present. Whether you're searching for BMX riding in Browns Plains, BMX tracks in Logan, BMX racing in Brisbane or cycling facilities in South East Queensland, Centenary Plains is a great local BMX facility to have on the list. RTS Tip: As an active BMX racing and club facility, organised training and racing take priority. Check current Centenary Plains BMX Club information before making a special trip and respect any club activities taking place at the track.
