About this ride
Bundaleer Reservoir Reserve in the Mid North, between Spalding and Jamestown, is open for cycling on three unsealed loop trails totalling 17.5 km. The 4.5 km Reservoir Loop circles the water and crosses the dam wall. The 7 km Boundary Loop also crosses the wall and takes in the outer reserve, and the 6 km Woods Loop follows the northern shore into the woodlands. You can link them up or explore the extra trails that cut through the woodlands. Trails are shared with walkers, so ride considerately. Two picnic shelters overlook the kayak launch. Open daily from sunrise to sunset. The reserve is closed on Total Fire Ban days, Christmas Day and during operational activity. No dogs.
