Malabar Park BMX & Community Facility in Bibra Lake is one of Perth’s standout BMX destinations, featuring a newly redeveloped UCI-standard BMX racing track alongside a public pump track. Completed in 2025, the $8.9 million redevelopment transformed the site into a high-quality facility capable of hosting major BMX events, with a technical race track featuring rollers, jumps, rhythm sections and berms. A 5m start ramp provides the full race experience during Cockburn BMX Club training and competition. Best of all, the main BMX track is open for public riding outside club operating times, giving riders the chance to experience a competition-standard track without needing to be attending an organised race session. The surrounding facility also includes a pump track, playground, BBQs, toilets and parking, making it a great option for families and riders of different abilities. RTS Tip: The BMX track is generally open to the public 7am–6pm daily, but closes when Cockburn BMX Club is training, racing or holding events — typically from late afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays plus selected weekends. The 5m start ramp is reserved for club use, but the main track and public pump track still offer plenty to ride. Check current club activities before making the trip.
