Corkscrew Road Climb
About this ride
Corkscrew Road is a short, punchy Adelaide Hills climb that has featured as a Tour Down Under KOM four times. The Tour's Adelaide Bike Atlas measures it at 3.3 km at 7.1% average, from the bottom of Corkscrew Road to the Church Road junction. Climbfinder notes four hairpins and a steepest 100 m of almost 15%, so it bites hard even on fresh legs. If you want more, turn right up to the church at the top before rolling back down. Traffic is low but there's no bike lane.
