Daisy Hill Conservation Park
About this ride
Daisy Hill Conservation Park, around 25km south-east of Brisbane, is one of South East Queensland’s most popular mountain biking destinations, with an extensive network of dedicated MTB and shared-use trails running through beautiful eucalypt forest and important koala habitat. From the Daisy Hill Trail Hub, riders can tackle loops including the 5.2km Spotted Gum Circuit, 5.7km Stringybark Circuit and 9km Buhot Creek Circuit, then branch onto purpose-built MTB trails such as Possum Box, Lace Monitor, Jumping Ant, Flying Cloud, Jims, Bronzewing and Bees Knees. With easy and intermediate options, one-way descents and plenty of connecting trails into the wider Koala Bushland Coordinated Conservation Area, it’s a brilliant network for beginners, families and experienced riders alike. RTS Tip: Start from the Daisy Hill Trail Hub, where you’ll find parking, toilets, water, a warm-up track and bike service area. If it’s your first visit, use one of the signed circuits as your backbone and add MTB-only trails as you go — it makes navigating the huge network much easier. Download the official MTB map before riding and remember that many of the connecting trails are shared with walkers and horse riders.
