HART Rider Training School Criterium Circuit
About this ride
HART Rider Training School Criterium Circuit is an enclosed, traffic-free riding circuit at the HART Rider Training School in St Ives, on Sydney's upper north shore. Manly Warringah Cycling Club races Friday-night criteriums here through the warmer months, typically from late October to mid-March (weather dependent). The club locates racing at 451 Mona Vale Road, St Ives. Graded scratch races run across A, B, C and D, with sign-on from 6:00 pm and racing from 6:30 pm. Entry is via Buncheur. Sydney Cycling Club describes the course as about 1.5 km, with a pinch each lap and a layout that keeps riders in view for spectators. It is a club race venue rather than a public park loop. Check the MWCC site or Buncheur for the current season before you travel. Distinct from Heffron Park and Waratah Park. RTS Tip: If you want a short, technical Friday-night crit with a northside club vibe, save MWCC and watch for the HART summer series opening on Buncheur.
