Lansdowne Reserve Criterium Track
About this ride
Lansdowne Reserve Criterium Track is a purpose-built sealed criterium circuit at Lansdowne in western Sydney. OpenStreetMap maps it as Lansdown Criterium Track. Sydney Cycling Club describes about a 2 km dedicated loop with rolling terrain through bush, with little flat recovery between the downs and ups. Waratah Masters Cycling Club lists Lansdown Park among its Sunday closed-circuit venues, with entrance via Henry Lawson Drive, Lansdowne. Lidcombe Auburn Cycling Club and Bankstown Sports Cycling Club have jointly staged Saturday afternoon graded racing here. AusCycling has also used the track for open events, including Sydney Road Titles. When clubs are racing, treat it as a closed race venue. Check club calendars, Buncheur or EntryBoss for dates before you go. RTS Tip: A solid western Sydney option if Heffron is a long haul. Pair a Lansdowne race weekend with other west-side venues on your trip planner.
