Mount Tamborine Climb (Henri Robert Drive)
About this ride
The Henri Robert Drive climb to Tamborine Mountain is one of the Gold Coast hinterland's toughest road climbs. It starts from the Clagiraba side and rises 581 m over 7.6 km at an average of 7.7%, with the steepest 100 m at about 18%. The road is narrow and winding through rainforest, and the steep middle section will have most riders in their easiest gear. The climb tops out on Tamborine Mountain, where you'll find cafes in the villages. Ride single file, use lights, and save some focus for the descent.
