Old Wells Road BMX

Old Wells Road BMX Track is a dedicated BMX racing facility at 101R Old Wells Road in Seaford, and home to Frankston Sharks BMX Track. The purpose-built dirt race track has been part of the local BMX scene for decades and provides a proper competition-style course for riders wanting to develop their BMX skills or get involved in racing. The track features large undulations, jumps, rollers and bermed corners, providing plenty of opportunities to practise pumping, jumping, cornering and carrying speed. It caters to BMX riders across a range of ages and abilities, from juniors learning the fundamentals through to experienced racers training for competition. The facility has received investment and upgrades over the years to support the continued growth of BMX in the area, and remains an important home for organised training, club activities and racing in Melbourne’s south-east. Its location near the Seaford Wetlands and surrounding shared-path network also puts the track within a broader cycling area, with connections towards Seaford, Carrum and Carrum Downs. RTS Tip: This is a proper BMX race track rather than a recreational pump track, so expect jumps, rollers and race-focused features designed to be ridden with speed.
