The Scenic Southern Down is a demanding ~300 km gravel bike-packing circuit from Boonah to Stanthorpe and back through the Scenic Rim and Granite Belt, with roughly 5,700 m of climbing and long stretches of remote gravel via Lake Maroon, Koreelah, Killarney and Maryland National Park. Plan fuel stops carefully, respect wet-weather creek crossings on Condamine River Road, and treat it as an advanced two-day adventure rather than a casual weekend spin.
