Sycamore Reserve BMX

Sycamore Recreation Reserve in Mill Park, Sycamore Reserve BMX is a dedicated BMX racing facility and home to the Northern BMX Club. The all-weather track is designed to cater for a range of abilities, giving newer riders the opportunity to build confidence while providing faster, more challenging riding for experienced BMX racers. The track features sealed bitumen berms, a starting hill and gate, lighting and improved drainage, allowing for reliable riding throughout much of the year. The reserve also offers a pavilion, public and accessible toilets, canteen facilities and parking, making it a well-equipped BMX destination in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Northern BMX Club runs racing, coaching and training sessions at the track, while the facility is available for public riding outside designated club-use times. RTS TIP: Sycamore is an active BMX racing venue, so check Northern BMX Club activities and track access before making the trip. Outside club sessions the track is open for public use, making it a great place to practice BMX skills or introduce younger riders to a proper race-style track. Start with a few steady laps to learn the jumps, berms and track layout before picking up the pace.
