The Tawonga Gap climb from the Mt Beauty / Tawonga South side rises 479 m over 7.6 km at about 6.3% from the Kiewa Valley Highway turn-off on Tawonga Gap Road. Hairpins early on lift the gradient before a steadier run past Lawlar Springs and Sullivans Lookout to the yellow KOM line at the Gap. It is a classic High Country effort used in local racing and Peaks Challenge prep — narrow and winding, so ride predictably and enjoy the valley views on the way up.
