About this ride

Booyeembara Park in White Gum Valley, Fremantle packs a lot of fun into a compact urban MTB facility and is home to Western Australia’s first micro-downhill trails. The riding area features two roughly 400m purpose-built descents: a fast and flowy blue intermediate jump line loaded with tabletops, hip jumps, shark fins, berms and rollers, and a much more serious black trail featuring drops, step-ups, step-downs, a wooden wall ride and advanced jumping features. A beginner-friendly pump track at the trail hub gives newer riders somewhere to build skills, while an easy return climbing trail gets you back to the top for another lap. RTS Tip: Don’t let the short trail lengths fool you — the black line contains non-optional advanced features and requires solid jumping skills. Newer riders should start on the pump track, progress to the blue line when ready and session plenty of laps before considering the black. There are shelters, seating, drinking water, bike parking and nearby toilets, making Boo Park an easy spot to settle in for a skills session.
