Gold Coast Cycling Centre

The Gold Coast Cycle Centre at Nerang is a dedicated cycling complex bringing together an outdoor velodrome, criterium circuits and direct access to the mountain bike trails of Nerang National Park. The centre’s outdoor 356m asphalt velodrome is complemented by approximately 900m and 1.5km road circuits, creating a versatile venue for track riding, criterium racing, time trials, training and junior development. It’s home to Gold Coast Cycling Club, which regularly uses the facility for racing and coached sessions, while the neighbouring forest means road, track and mountain biking all come together in one seriously handy cycling precinct. RTS Tip: Check the Gold Coast Cycling Club calendar before heading down if you want to join an organised session. Track training caters for juniors and adults, while time trials and racing also run at the centre throughout the year. If you’re bringing the MTB as well, allow extra time — Nerang National Park is right next door, so you can swap the velodrome for the dirt without moving the car.
