Lidcombe Oval Velodrome

Lidcombe Oval Velodrome is a historic outdoor cycling track at Lidcombe Oval in Western Sydney, forming part of the Wyatt Park sporting precinct on Church Street. Opened in 1933, Lidcombe Oval has a long history of both cycling and rugby league and remains an active cycling venue today. The outdoor velodrome is approximately 426 metres long with relatively gentle banking, making it considerably less intimidating than the steep banks of an indoor competition velodrome. Its generous width and shallow banking make it particularly well suited to riders learning the fundamentals of track cycling.
